Leaf blades adaxial surfaces glabrous, or with trichomes. Leaf blades adaxial surfaces pubescent. Leaf blades abaxial surfaces glabrous. Veins 713. Adaxial to abaxial sclerenchyma strands present.
Floral morphology. Inflorescences loosely open. Inflorescences 1118 cm long. Inflorescences branches 611 cm long. Notes. Lu (1992) placed this taxon in Subg. Drymanthele sect. Sinenses and named it as the type species of this section.
