Ecology. Flowering time Jun.-Aug. On mountain slopes, meadows steppes; 32003700 m. Distribution. Northwestern China: Gansu, Qinghai.
Notes. Markgraf-Dannenberg (1973) when she described this taxon suggested that it is close to F. jacutica. She noted that a near relative is F. nubigena Jangh. in Java.
Illustrations. leaf anatomy. Leaf cross section as illustrated in the original description (Markgraf-Dannebeng (1973) , Leaf blades were described as (0.25-)0.30.5 mm in diameter; veins 5: three large, and two smaller; adaxial to abaxial sclerenchyma strands absent. Abaxial sclerenchyma well developed. Abaxial sclerenchyma in broad bands or continuous; ribs 5 (central rib and 4 lateral ribs well defined). Distribution map.
